The beach shack has started opening this season! Or at least yesterday. These guys are closed for quite a bit of the year, but serve food on busy beach days, when the weather draws a good crowd to Seacliff state park. I usually park at Rio Del Mar and walk in when I feel like spending a day on a cooler beach, so this is a perfect way point to grab something to snack on. And if you eat here instead of bringing a picnic you have a much better chance of not ending up with a bunch of sand in your food since their food is prepped indoors!
